“A Little Sweeter Than Blue!” Charleston SC’s quintet Sweetgrass Band features an acoustic, eclectic blend of songs with wonderful vocal harmonies. Playing together for the past five years are good friends Rick Pohl: vocals, guitar & banjo; Gail Pohl: vocals & bass; Debby Jeter: vocals, guitar & mandolin; Leslie Sautter: vocals, guitar & violin and Jamie Coan: vocals, guitar, dobro & violin. Their musical repertoire consists of several original and cover songs from a wide variety of musical genres. The group draws influences from several top music artists such as Allison Krauss and Union Station; Kim Richey; Rhonda Vincent and The Rage and many others.
